Broccoli - early April update

Well here we are, six months on and the broccoli plants have survived rain, sleet and wind; lots of wind ....


And they are producing more than enough side shoots for a couple of meals per week ... fantastic!

I prefer to eat them almost raw, blanched in hot water for a minute, and then part of a salad mix. 

Delicious. 

In my experience, the plants will keep producing through the Spring and into early Summer, if not longer.


It is a great return for a small investment in plants and a little patients.
